two sets of arrows
She can hear the roaring of pain from the tiger, but she’s too focused on the tree to pay much attention to it. Her body guard has darted, left for the rest of the Fae, which leaves her to focus on the tree. And gods is it frustrating, wishing she had better magic, stronger focus, better everything. Gods, she’s out of shape. The flame hits exactly where she’s planned, and she relishes as the flame sparks.
At least for the moment, until she’s wrapped tightly and she hisses deep as the tiger misses her but she’s stuck. Arms are tight to her sides, and the tree almost intends to squeeze the air out of her. If only she breathed. Eyes lift to look toward the rest of her crew, seeing briefly as everyone else seems to be attacked and occupied. "Fuck me." She growls, supposing she’ll have to get out of this alone – but she can’t use flame for fear of creating a fiery casket for herself.
And so, hands aimed down and gripped tight by the roots of the tree, she summons a tiny saw – more like a knife with a serrated edge, and gets to work trying to saw through the roots with as much movement as she can manage – praying to everyone that the fucking tiger leaves her alone enough to do this. Or maybe she’ll annoy the tree enough to let her go.
Rex summons a small saw (knife with a serrated edge basically) and tries to saw through the roots holding her!
