Wessex should have stunned them again. She absolutely should have. For all the queen's planning and cleverness, she forgets (or perhaps simply overlooked) the fact that the fae all share an attuned bond. All the while the pair have been speaking,
planning. Though it is LEROY who controls fire, it is HISSY who controls stone. Swiftly, the pair do this: HISSY creates a flat rock-edge around the blade Wessex holds while LEROY tugs at the fire using his magic. Should the queen loosen her grip the fae will try and fly away from her, though assuming she keeps it, he'll merely try and target the flames in her direction. Meanwhile HISSY tries to anchor the queen to the ground with stone on her feet.
"Because you knocked me out! And..you...you bit me!" CLERIC replies in a shocked and hurt voice, staring at
Samuel. Giving Sam a look and then pausing as if hearing something, CLERIC leaves Sam in the clearing and rushes to KITTY.

Rexanna 's plan is a good one. Unfortunately her control of the fire wobbles just enough for KITTY to be able to disengage. As CLERIC appears, the big cat backs up to defensively protect the healer as pure white light pours from his hands onto the Mathair.
