With Wessex stats constantly increasing, the queen hits both of her targets with her bio-pulse, once again rendering them dizzy and nauseous. Despite LEROY'S struggles, the queen holds him fast and with a quick slice of her blades, lifeblood drains like dark water in the moonlight. HISSY's earth magic might have saved his friend had his attention not been strangled by the Wraith's bio-pulse, but there is no time to think of that now. As the queen lunges the fae tries to flail back. Conjuring an earthen wall as a shield, Wessex's claws strike through scraping painfully against his stomach as he stumbles back. Trying to tightly close his grip of earth around Wessex's arm to hold her there, his magic warbles and though tight, the queen will be able to pull herself free.

As Samuel calls out, the Voice responds in a strangled and distracted voice. I AM Sam!  Get yourself out of there! She commands. Electricity sizzles from Mathair towards Sam, snapping at the vines around his legs and freeing him. Help the others! This will be over soon! It is the tree that needs to be defeated! KILL THE TREE Noticing this however, SMASHY advances on Sam, ax raised. Thrusting it down into the meaty portion of the ascended's leg.

Though Rexanna isn't able to break Mathair's hold of her, her fire does fly true. However with KITTY guarding the CLERIC, the fire strikes her instead. With a roar of pain, the fae is nearly knocked out of her feline body but stands her ground, adamant on protecting the healer at all costs. More light pours from CLERIC, giving strength back to the great tree.
