Phoebe was quaking in her boots, and all Loren was doing was throwing a few insults at her. Honestly, he could’ve been doing so much worse: magic, sure, but even just his bare fists. If this was enough to bring her to the verge of collapsing again, then she was probably beyond help. The Launceleyn was a lot of things, but he never backed down or hid from a fight worth fighting. The healer didn't have that same fire in her. Or maybe ice, given how his rage still coursed within him.
