Rexanna might be smiling, and so was Loren, but it felt more like two predators baring their teeth at one another than anything else. Well, that was fine by him: she was strong and fast and practically immortal, but he could heal from just about anything and even cold as he was he had fire within him. But he’d keep it all chained up, since she’d been so nice as to make a housecall. Besides, he was done cleaning up messes.
