The feel of claws melting back into hands had been more relieving than anything else since seeing Remi in the pit, and she clasped him close against her as he slumped forward. "You did it," she corrected as he spoke, one hand smoothing through his matted curls. "I was just there to help if you needed me." Sinking to sit down in the mud (because why bother trying to get away from it - it was everywhere), she tilted her head to rest atop Remi's, still holding onto him securely.
