Phoebe had not forgotten the purpose, but the reminder made her sigh. She wasn’t happy about it but…well she wasn’t going to back out of her half of the bargain. So she moved to the front door, picking up the backpacks from where they were strewn about and brought them over to the coffee table in the living room. ”Jax was wearing this around his neck. It was the ring my brother gave Roana when they got married.” she said, pulling the ring with the chain attached out from her pocket and setting it down. It was a simple, rather plain ring, one clearly more meant for practicality than for show. ”As far as I am aware, all it is is a ring. I don’t think there is any reason you should need to take it.” she said softly.
Then Phoebe starting pulling things out from their bags. Sets of clothes and toys mostly. The Ludo box was nowhere to be seen in the bags – though Loren might remember that the boys had placed it on a window sill. The only thing out of place was a small bag in Rhett’s pack that held three seemingly nondescript daggers. ”She may have given him these since Krosis is Cormac’s inheritance and the wedding ring was given to Jax.” she said with a light shrug.
