They had found her lover, far sooner than he had dreamed possible, and he would have sighed in relief if it wouldn't have interrupted the song.

So he stepped up beside her, song becoming quieter as he conserved his breath. He lowered the lantern and set his shield, tensed and ready to step in the path of any attack that Ru'in's corpse might try to launch at the woman who balked it.
