Oh if anyone knew how much the Fae disliked her, it’s Rexanna. One, being an Outlander was problematic on its own, one from the Hollowed Grounds of all places, let alone being Ascended? It was like a double whammy of disapproval, and with her actions she can’t blame them in the slightest. But gods, she wanted the mountains so bad, the opportunity to leave here and explore further. She could grab Bastien, go with Deimos and Kiada, and show him what it was like back home.
Besides, she has some sort of idea that Bastien might appreciate the way light hits the snow along the rockery, it might be worth painting for him.
At the mention of Zariah, however, Rexanna shrugs ever so slightly, inhaling deeply despite not needing to. “I’m… Not sure. A small nod is sent Deimos’ way and a light frown as she shrugs. “They won’t… I already know this. Lucas’ body was left behind, we were hardly strong enough to get ourselves to a shrine for repairs and replenishment.” That breath she had inhaled now comes out in a sigh, arm reaching up to rest her cheekbone against it. “I regret what happened… I do, but gods Deimos, I want mountains so bad.”
