He thought he saw a shimmer before Adam pulled him into a tight hug. There was... something uh, something calling? And I... I wanted to see it.” Peter shifted away then, pulling just slightly out of Adams arms to gesture down with his head. ”I found it.” There was a small part of Peter that hoped Apricum would be enough to distract Adam from his disappearance, that somehow what he’d gained would be enough to make up for it.
