Jigano had returned to the room with the dead, keeping his watch over them even if he could do nothing else. Were their souls safe within the lantern, or had they been stolen from their bodies before he had arrived? He knew where the washrooms were, where the kitchen was, and he began to run through the ground floor of the structure, turning on every water tap he could find.
