Not enough, never enough and Jigano felt the heat swirling around him as Isuma fluttered to his shoulder, peeping cries of fear as the flames turned the world red and smoke began to fill the air.
"Rexanna !" he called, making his way through the halls and rooms to where he had last seen his blinded friend. No matter what had passed between them he couldn't leave her to die, even if her abilities let her control the flames to some degree. When he found her he reached out to her, if she allowed it, wrapping a careful arm around her broken ribs to guide her out and away from the deadly inferno that was picking up the pace behind them.
