He blasted it with some water, which sent it scurrying away. Smiling at his new ability, the Launceleyn dropped a seed in the hole, then scooped the fleeing mud back over it. It seemed to jiggle a bit, as if annoyed at the manhandling, but it settled in soon enough.
Luckily, Astra had distracted the demi-god of Rae long enough for Loren to finish the task. ”That’s Astra, my companion. She follows me pretty much everywhere. The summoner’s brow furrowed as he tried to follow along with the other man’s explanation. ”So genetics is like matter for living things?” That seemed to be the closest analogy that Loren could think of. Unfortunately, he wasn’t entirely certain how matter worked, but it sounded similar.
