Yes, Loren remembered his clumsy attempts to comprehend matter. It was a recent enough development and conversation that even the occasionally forgetful, careless, and thickheaded Launceleyn could remember it. Using that as a base (which would be a funny joke if he actually understood any of the subject matter they were discussing), it was much easier to tackle the topic of chemicals. However, it sounded as if her assignment from her parent took precedence over all else, so he wasn’t getting his hopes up.
