A croon of warning is sent to Deimos, amusement shifting through the bond between them as if to challenge him and say that it’s absolutely not enough. That he’d have to do much more to her than coat her in mud and a few small bruises of hidden rockery. The distraction is welcome enough, the fun of the game is lightening the shadows of her heart and her eyes, and she can feel herself growing happier second after second as she soars into the sky and lets the mud slip from her talons, watching it shower down below.

He’s a bit big of a target to be hiding beneath bushes and hope he doesn’t get hit.

Still, she’s amused immensely, at least for the time being until he grabs a ball of mud and settles back, ready to launch it into the sky at her. She tries to evade, swinging deep on one wing before the ball of mud nails her right in her chest feathers. And hard too, and it coats her feathers, making it nearly impossible for her to continue flying and so she manages to turn just enough to head toward him, shifting into herself and aiming to land her body right into him – mud and all.

“That was a bit much, if you ask me.” She teases, despite her lips curling in a smile of amusement.
