At the question of what Flowerbirth is like, he pauses and considers it. “Don’t really know, actually.” A light frown at his unhelpfulness. But he’s never experienced it, knew nothing really about it. “It’s my first time here. I arrived in… Longheat just before Leafchange.” He’ll be coming up on a year here soon. And what a year it had been – a rollercoaster of sorts. Ups and downs that he couldn’t comprehend, couldn’t understand, still didn’t really get in the grand scheme of things.
Still, he hopes the answer is good enough for this strange man. Haai doesn’t seem to mind him at all as she howls a high pitched sound of excitement at the grasses that sprout from his hair, batting at them and using them to make a bed, scratching lightly with tiny paws to make a bed and rest upon in her content, wings spreading and giving a sort of shadowed appearance to the top of his head like he’s some kind of superhero.
Sunjata regards Kaimana again, steel eyes skating over the freckled man with interest. “Sometimes, yeah.” He answers at first. “If she’s really happy it’s hard to stay in a bad mood. As for how far? I’m not sure. She basically goes with me everywhere nowadays.” The last question, however, takes him a bit longer to contemplate, and he looks up to the companion who stares back at him with wide emerald eyes. “She’s usually either happy or upset. One feels like… Sunshine, like the warmth of the sun on a chilly morning. When she’s upset it feels like the world before a thunderstorm.” That sort of… Static feeling where there’s this sense of impending doom on the horizon.
