He focuses on it briefly before an awkward laugh leaves him and he shakes his head. “Because, Phoebe, it’s an egg.” He begins, face still flush as he takes the stick eith his left hand again and points to the ovaries. “These are full of them, but they don’t make more. And each month one is released.” Again he trails down the tube where he had started. “But it can’t do anything unless it’s fertilized.”
