full moon rising on the waters of my soul
Amun gave Delphia an unimpressed look, then shrugged, before nodding as she agreed to work on the inside. Turning to Oliver, the Ascended smirked. ”Hopefully. And that works for me.” With that, the potter retrieved a few likely pieces of wood, a saw, and a hammer and nails before retreating inside.

Where he was confronted by the sight of the daughter of Mort doing something. ”Hey, I know your nickname is Smokey and all, but the idea was to clean up, not make it dirtier.” Dumping the pile of supplies he lugged in, he pointed at the dust and the dirt and the broken pieces. ”Mind taking care of the physical mess?” He winked at her. ”Not that I mind getting messy, but for the shop I’m trying to keep it clean.” Waggling his eyebrows, his voice came out cheerfully enough.

Then he bent down and retrieved a few boards and the saw. Striding over to the corner, he placed two boards on the ground, then one on top of them, making an H shape. He hammered the one on top into the ones on the ground, then placed a second board to close off the top of the H, which got hammered in as well. Then he got three more boards. Two were placed upright on the ends, then next to the board in the middle, placing it in the center of the frame. He eyed them, then attempted to saw them until they were the same height. Unfortunately, he misjudged, and the one in the middle was too short.

Sighing, he went to grab another board. This time, his sawing was more precise. Sadly, when he went to hammer them in, the one in the center and the top left cracked, the old and broken wood not standing up to the force. Sighing, he went back to repeat the process.

Outside, unseen to Amun, Blondie was hard at work. Unfortunately for the other man, the mud wasn’t going to make it easy: it slowly oozed out of the spots where Oliver was placing the new stones, carrying the new construction with them with a series of soft thumps.
