Delphia glanced back at him, an eyebrow raised. Interesting. Had what she said been so out there? A ton was a rather lot so she hoped it was hyperbole. Having known both Kai and Oia meant she was very accustomed to the game of 20 (read 100) questions they tended to play, if only out of their natural curiosity. But thankfully, it seemed he only had two.
"People made them. Or the gods did. It doesn't particularly matter. This is where they are now." she said with a shrug. Most of these spirits were imprints on the land left by humans in their dying moments. But she wouldn't discount the possibility that some had been here long before. "And ROUS are Rodents Of Unusual Size. Very large, man-eating rats." she said lightly, as if discussing the weather.
