There was still an undercurrent of guilt in Peter, but it was easy enough to ignore, and to move past, especially with the comfort radiating off Loren. He let himself be wrapped up in the feeling, only shifting when Loren did, the words taking a moment to catch up with Peter, though their meaning snapped into place as the badger raced off, Peter pushing himself to his feet and racing after the other, a bright laugh in his mind.
