His grin was crooked as he accepted her compliment. "Silver linings, and all that." Considering magic was a curse here he wished he could have come by it through some less painful means, but now that he had it he was going to make the best - and most - of it. "But fire arrows? That sounds like a tale in itself!" One he would ask her for when the training was done and they were walking back to town, he decided. For the moment, though...
