Huh. So they have a seamstress of sorts here. Oliver would have to remember her name for later use. "Could I say....commission her to make something for someone else? I mean, I'll absolutely go for myself since I love your jackets, but please just keep this one bit between us....I want to surprise this new guy with something...and I wanna see if she's able to make it." He had high doubts that Sunjata had met the dude. Harper had barely just arrived. It's not like Oliver was trying to impress him, more like he wanted Harper to feel comfortable and Sunjata had just offered to ticket to doing that.
Oliver picks up the glass and takes a sip from it, nodding along. It was clear that Sunjata really did love Lusea and surely, he must be saddened by the fact that she's gone missing. Oliver isn't sure if talking about it will make things worse or help him to grieve. In no way was he trained to deal with that intense of stuff, so all he could really do was try to offer some advice. "I can agree with you on that, whiskey is fantastic! It's hard to find a good bottle, though. I...I used to drink it back at home myself." That was another memory that just came back to him in the middle of speaking. There was a clear change, where his eyes widened and he devolved into his own mini story. It wasn't much, but it was more than he had before.
And hey! At least Oliver isn't the only person who hadn't met Amalia yet, that's nice to know. "Be sure to eat some, heard that bread helps you drink more alcohol." There was a shrug of his shoulders as he took a bite from his own bread. Plus, Oliver wasn't in the mood to take home ANY food, so they'd have to eat at least half of it for Oliver to feel satisfied.
