Though manners would dictate she pour him another glass, she leaves him to his devices, to determine how much he needs and when. She doesn't partake herself - something in her resonates on a level she has never questioned, telling her she'll need her sobriety for this. That it won't just be him sharing tonight. Alcohol has never been her crutch of choice. Leaning her elbows on the table, chin propped on one palm, she listens intently as he tells her about Lusea. Its stilted, partial information, but it's a start. Painting the outline of a girl whose complete picture she will only fully view from the lens of Sunjata's mind. It's truly a tragedy, and she regrets not having met her sooner, thinks perhaps they could have been good friends in another life. A wry smile pulls at her lips as his voice fades. "Already I can tell she was a great woman if that was her judgment of you." It's not necessarily a tease. More of a straightforward compliment to Lusea wherever she is. "What did she look like?" Together they will honor her memory, informal and imperfect but sincere on both sides. Theu will draw out the good things, the beautiful, raw things. Not just the unfairness of her untimely death. Lusea was more than her demise. Hotaru intends to remind Sunjata of this in this moment where he's too mired in her death to see beyond it yet.
