Nate shrugs, conceding the point to Wessex. As long as they could fond a place to dig their feet in, people would bear anything. The phrase no way out did surprise him a bit though. He had assumed that something opened up somewhere, the mountains or the sea or something. It made you wonder how people had gotten here in the first place, why they stayed, but that wasn’t a wonder he voiced.
”If were restricted, no ones actually said it.” Nate says, grinning wide. Whether it’s an intentional oversight remains to be seen however. ”They just don’t want people in their village. It’s probably still safer to avoid it though. Might not be trespassing, but they’ll find a reason to be violent.” This was less based on what he knew of the fey and more on his own experience, but it probably still worked.
Nate steps to the side, pushing against Sam just a bit, and glances back at the portal. ”I’m sure you’ll hear about anything we missed when you get back though. Don’t let us keep you from home.”
