Staying quiet throughout Jigano's explanation about the gods, Loren sent a pulse of appreciation towards the bard when the summoner figured the white-haired man was done. Thanks. That’s good to know. I’ll keep that in mind the next time I speak to one of the heralds. Then amusement filtered through the Launceleyn’s mind. Assuming I speak to them again, of course.
At Jiganos’ enthusiasm, Loren grew a little bit embarrassed. I’m not much one for parties or games, as I mentioned. And I'm not sure you want me in front of crowds. I can do riddles, though. Maybe give the winners a calligraphed scroll? Something with useful information and nice pictures relevant to their profession or life? The summoner was far less sure about the potential reward. Or candy. People love sweets, and I have a lot at the Manor that no one will eat anymore. There was a great deal of sadness underscoring that thought.
