Coffee was walking calmly until the rather exciting arrival of Haai, at which point he lept up and bounded over, happily bouncing about and trying to play, little puffs of happy smoke rising up from his nostrils. Exactly how that would work he wasn't sure, but still. You'd think someone that ran an organisation like the Devil's Advocates would be smarter about trusting gifts on their doorstep.
