And then, when the current Arbiter — Er, King dies, the previous winners fight for the crown.” Theres an almost distant look to his gaze at this. “The crown had stayed in the Senzaok name for quite some time, six generations or so, until I went and got with Lusea at nineteen.” A brief explanation of that ordeal.
But the mention of Attuning has the shadows lightening from his eyes as he nods. “Yeah. Went to the shrine in the glade and asked anyone there if I could attune. Safrin showed, kissed me, and I was a bird.” He snorts, shaking his head and sipping from his glass.
