As much as she was, like all Fae, a little suspicious of the Outlanders, she couldn't help but find their stories fascinating.She was filled with wanderlust, though she'd only just realised that was what it was. "Yes. I want to explore everywhere I can. Though everywhere I go, everyone says 'Oh, you're a Fae! Wow! Tell me all about the woods!'." Jiao waved her hands about with this impression to convey her irritation. "I don't think I'm ever going to escape the Greatwood."
It seemed they were going to keep dancing around the Mathair. "I know the Ascended killed the tree and some of our soldiers...for a portal." She said, taking a bold step. "I heard that The Voice burnt the Mathair horribly with her magic. That she was cold and unconcerned with the life lost." Not asking a question, Jiao simply waited to see how Amun would reply.
