"Think you can get past her to their flag?" he asked, a challenge in his voice but worry in his eyes. "You're probably our best striker." He turned to smile encouragingly at Oliver. "No offense, but a tiny fox against a badger is no fair contest. What position do you want to take? Defense? Or do you want to match up against the young lady with the flag and try to sneak around while Kiada distracts Melita?" Because he had no illusions that, no matter what the initial plan was, those two would end up squaring off eventually. Better to just work it into the plan from the start.
