Heh, the barest form of a mocking laugh spun from her mouth, from her chest, despite the pain and torment riddled and rankled down her form. She’ll recover. This is nothing. Kiada was nothing, naught but grime and muck and despicable, twisted annihilation. Her staff managed to hit, managed to seethe, managed to gain access, and in that moment, the girl tried to twist out of her combatant’s confines, attempting to slip from beneath nails, claws, and talons, leaving skin, flesh, and blood behind in her wake of rolling and contorting, pushing herself into the brunt of the agony just for another opportunity. Because if she slithered out, if she succeeded, the youth had every intention of bringing her staff down upon Kiada again and again and again, a rain of blows and distortion, savage, demonic punishment and vengeance.
Fangorn, the only one in their bond who actually remembered what the game constituted, launched forward, eerie teeth and eyes, in attempt to find Oliver where he’d last seen him.
