LOREN
Loren was still working on that whole exploring the Greatwood thing. While he usually had company, today he was feeling the need for some alone time, so he’d set off on his own.
Well, kinda. Astra was by his side, but she felt more like an extension of himself than anything else. He didn’t mind at all as she bounded about, endlessly curious and kind. Whenever she trotted back to him for affection, he obliged with a scritch or a rub, which was enough to satisfy her.
Today they were making their way along the Stonesong. He and Abasi had only seen a portion of it, so the summoner was hiking as much of it as he could. Eventually, though, he stumbled upon a humorous sight. Deimos (the Launceleyn had seen the tiger enough times by now to know who it was) was perched on the edge of the river. Even as Loren watched, the General pounced at a goldfish. Reaching out with magic, the summoner swirled the waters around the fish in a miniature whirlpool, leaving it helpless against the other man's attack.
