Edy
I'm not totally useless.
I can be used as a bad example

"Oohh. Nice one Loren." Edy sneered rolling her eyes. "Forced you, mr. I'm so fucking powerful now? Please. You lost your shit because you don't know how to separate the past from the present." Even as the words left her lips in a cool stream of teenage-righteousness, Edy felt like crying. What was worse, is that underneath that, Edy just felt like hugging Loren and asking to start over. But clearly that wasn't happening, and so, having learned absolutely no coping skills in the Launceleyn compound, she simply raised her chin, narrowed her eyes and sneered again.

They all yelled no more fire and surprisingly, Edy listened. She had absolutely no reverence at all for books, but in the midst of a battle the Launceleyn girl had been trained to take orders from above. And asshole or not, Loren did outrank her, even if their family was all but dissolved anyways. Instead of running, Edy merely fixed her sights on the gourds coming her way and crossed her arms. Reaching out with her magic as soon as they got close, Edy pulled at them with her lifedrain causing what little biological animation they had to immediately cease.

Youthful and spry, Edy darted around one of the shelves glaring around at the gourds and tempting them to follow her. "What, no cute boy to escort me out?" She chimed from behind the bookshelf, both annoyed that Loren cared more about saving a complete stranger than his own kin and being told she couldn't play with fire anymore.
