Sch---hhhhhh--- Loren's blade of water hits the creature with such force that the top half of it literally parts from the bottom, toppling to the side with a sound like pancake mix falling onto the floor. The Mud Monster gargles. The Mud... Monsters... gargle. Visibly slowed, both halves of the creature need a moment to recover, but whilst only half of their collosal height, they both continue to plod onwards towards the festival. Loren's action does not happen in a vacuum, however. As a result of his parting the monster's sort-of-head from its maybe-shoulders, Oliver's rocks sail clear of the creature and do nothing to damage it. Boo! Pim does manage to get his little teeth and claws into the bottom half of the Mud Monster, at least, and the little dragon comes away filthy but successful. Sunjata, though...oh dear. Perhaps the ground is too slippery with water and muck, but the panther is unable to get purchase enough to scratch at the creature, and instead slides right into its path. It barrels over him on its pathway to the festival, unknowing, unseeing, and the guildmaster is sucked beneath it. Then sweet, sweet Phoebe makes her call. It is a cry to the heavens, carried on flowers and sunshine, and those in the muddied fields would feel the deity's presence as a warmth in their fingertips, though they did not appear in person (now is not the time for an orgy, folks!) "For you, doll, I'll even the playing field a little." Frey's voice breezed through them, and just as the severed half of the Mud Monster takes a swipe at Oliver, it promptly transforms into a thousand, thousand petals. There. That should help. Loren attacks the monster and HITS, creating two smaller monsters! Oliver attacks and MISSES. Pim attacks and HITS the bottom half of the monster. Sunjata attacks and MISSES. He is sucked beneath the bottom half of the monster, and is now trapped and suffocating! Phoebe channels Frey and SUCCEEDS. Frey causes the top half of the monster to vanish, just as it takes a swipe at Oliver. It MISSES. HP: Monster: 120 Loren: 140 Sunjata: 56 Oliver: 45 Phoebe: 72 The monster will be upon the festival in approximately TWO rounds. Sunjata will suffocate to death in approximately TWO rounds.
