Ronin is busy - busy flinging a punch at Jigano’s face as the bard lunges for him, busy fighting down the sudden, boiling urge within him that seems to beg to be let out, busy being on the ground with a hole punched through him.
Groaning and trying to get to his feet, Ronin has learned a valuable lesson - hits from goddesses hurt. But also, hey. He’s alive. So fuck her as well.
His astral projection, unable to see Sam, can do nothing much other than wait for the strike. But it is busy, at least, and hurls another starbolt at the Temple for good measure.
