This was a savage form of catharsis, Ronin would realise later, and one that he would happily engage in with every free moment for the rest of his life. For now, though, his mind simply swam with Remi, the taste of him on his lips, the heat of the skin pressed against him, the movements and gestures so familiar and yet so far from it in that moment. There were other moments that his mind similarly tried to call back on; starlit nights after they were married; playful fumbles in the stairway of the guild; near misses in public, even. But they paled, honestly, to the level of need that coursed through Ronin right now. A gruff moan rumbled in his throat as his hips were driven forward, and there would be little doubt that he was already rock hard; no tentative build up needed, no flirting or romancing.
