Then Frey showed, and everything took a weird turn. Of course she had never seen the god before. For all that she'd been a farmer most of her life, and prayed to all the gods in equal measure, the only one she'd ever actually met was Ludo.
And now, she knew that she would never actively seek out this Herald of Rae. Just seeing it made her distinctly uncomfortable, face turning beet root and body swimming with sensations she was neither comfortable with, nor prepared to deal with. She turned away, mortified, and wondered if it would be terribly disrespectful if she slipped away somewhere... wedding be damned.
But of course she didn't. She stayed put, quiet as a mouse in her seat, carefully avoiding to look at anyone.
