But gods, when he looks at her with that boyish way, her lengthened canines on display – he dares to get nearer to her.
And the kiss to her cheek flares her cheeks even further until she wonders if they’ll start a fire.
“My worst, huh?” She laughs lightly, stilling just enough to get him to relax slightly, before she spins – pushing him back ever so slightly as she releases his wrists and aims to grab them once more as she faces him. “I don’t think you’d enjoy that much, Harper Quinn.” The façade falters as she presses against him again to keep him pinned enough, not realizing how close to the desk they’d gotten.
