Despite everything that had happened, the bar itself continued to go on without a hitch. And he still expected himself to be there for it to ensure it worked out well enough that he might have a time where he doesn’t need to worry about it as much. But for today, it was early still and he was off in the back taking his time putting things together, figuring out the best way to just try not to put too much work into things for a slight edge of annoyance that Nate might come barging through the doors yelling at him about how he should be on bedrest.

But he doesn’t expect the light voice that he hears, and after a moment, he appears from the back wearing a dark navy sleeveless shirt with all his equally navy wing tattoos on display that flare down the front and backs of his arms, the compasses on each side of his neck that when he rounds and stands on his side of the bar before her, the north points toward her. “Sorry about that, was just getting things ready for the day.” He offers, steel gaze flitting down to her – standing nearly a foot and a half taller than she. Placing his hands on the bar, clasped before him where the ring glints within the light he offers her a gentle smile of greeting. “What can I do for you?”
