You're so cold
but you feel alive
Wavering back and forth for some time, weighing her options and the risks, she had finally decided, and made her way through the portal, into Halo. It was not an easy journey to make, and Maea knew she would be traveling back and forth quite extensively for some time to come, but she told herself that it would be worth it in the end. Zariah's offer was simply too good to be passed up on. She was sure some of her friends would have objections, when they inevitably found out, so for the time being she had decided to tell no one.
Arriving at the designated spot on time, she studied the others present with quiet curiosity. She did not know their faces, was not aware of titles or positions yet, but offered polite greetings and introductions to both all the same. Turning to the Archmage, Maea sought her gaze to hold it, a half smile on her lips.
"In the end I decided I was too curious to stay away. I hope you are going to live up to all those things you bragged about, teacher." She had come ready to work, train and learn, and settled in to wait for instructions.
