A slight incline of his head in agreement to the mention that it indeed sounded like Hotaru, and despite it all there’s still a small wry smile that crosses his face as he runs a hand through his hair. He can still feel the kiss if he thinks hard enough, still feel the pang in his gut if he spends too long dwelling on it. But ah well, there wasn’t much he could do about it now. And he hadn’t even seen the Valkyrie since to speak to her about what occurred, why he’d done it, why he hadn’t talked to her first. And so he walks with Deimos as his companion trudges on, watching the griffin dart from side to side in an attempt to hunt.

He’d not have denied it, but he inhales deeply regardless and shakes his head, gaze drifting toward the ground. “Some sort of fall out I imagine. She can’t kick my ass so the best she could do is just yell at me.” He snorts to that, not caring if she did.
