Fun this might be (and despite her nerves, she had to admit it was fun) but she hadn't accounted for just how strong the lion would be, and how fragile the gourds would appear beneath his giant paws. Straightening up, she smiled to him as he padded over to her, not quite knowing what to expect and bracing horribly for the worst. So when the lion butted against her hand - and having ridden on a bear, somehow this was still a very humbling experience - she relaxed considerably. Her fingers scritched at the tawny mane, finding an ear to fuss somewhere under all the fur. "I reckon I could grab a few without getting bit, if you want to squash some more of them."
