The book of love is long and boring
Zidane took the book from him and began to flick through, seemingly satisfied with whatever it was he found within. Sam listened politely to the man speak and found himself wondering immediately who this 'friend' was - as far as he knew, there were not that many older Ascended, at least not since 108 had died. "Your...close friend? Who might that be?"
Sam was not very good at eye contact; as Zidane tried to hold it, he almost immediately broke it, casting his gaze to the ground.
"Oh, you...may be thinking of my sister. I never did much playing." He quietly corrected; his childhood had been spent hiding in corners and finding books to escape into, sometimes staring out the window at the children lucky enough to go out into the streets. "If you've been here so long though...may I ask how old you are? Do you remember a time before the barrier?" It seemed unlikely, but it was possible.
