He is used to living a life free of material possessions, but sometimes he looks at his old nightrunning suit in his closet and is overtaken by a wave of grief and longing for his old world. Helped a few people at the Festival, even helped build a memorial for them. And I met Safrin!" Because that had definitely been the highlight of everything for him, and likely will be for quite some time. Knowing she is always listening is more than he can stand to consider some days, overwhelmed by the fact that she is always there. Always ready to listen to him.
