Okay, it wasn't Hawaii. But it was damn well close enough!
When word spread about a new land to be discovered, it didn't take long for people to mobilize. Libbs included, and thus, her first adventures into portalling were discovered! Mind you, the bout of sickness that the sudden blink between realities had her whirling for a bit, but she was absolutely enthralled by what she met when she arrived on the other side.
Blue seas. Clear skies. The smell of the ocean. The silhouettes of palms against the horizon. Yes, she was definitely in the zone! And there was already people here! How much better could this possibly get?
And the first thing she wanted to feel? The sand underneath her toes. Yes. Odd. But that was the defacto beach experience. That was how you could verify that you were-indeed in a wonderful place. And so she had travelled out to the sands of the port, and had done exactly that, slipped her boots off, and stepped in the sand.
It felt exactly the way it said in books.. Libbs had the most content and delighted smile.
