Took the ring off as I should have in the first fucking place and maybe it wouldn’t have been so bad.” A muscle feathers in his jaw and he dares a look toward Maea, stormy and cold and shadowed. “And here we are, got my wish in the end. Single as ever.” He inhales as deep as he can, lungs shuddering before he pushes off the wall and goes to right more tables that had managed to only get knocked over and not destroyed.
