He’s entirely content to spiral into his darkness, to cocoon himself with it and leave everything a smoldering destruction in the eye of his storm. The freedom granted of not being chained or shackled, or caring or wanting to help, when it was evident he wasn’t particularly good at it, has him reaching for that shift more and more every day.
