Their explanations were fumbling and inaccurate, but she appreciated the attempt to coax understanding into her befuddled mind. Had she not been drunk on this demanding new experience, she would probably have had an easier time following the terms, grasping the essence if perhaps not the finer details... but as it was, she at least got the gist. There was a touch of guilt then. At feeling such things. At them not being caused by Sunjata, at least not entirely. Tilting her head back, she looked up at him, pale moonlight eyes seeking the storm in his to see what he was thinking, what all this might be doing to him. They had talked about commitments before, of not making promises... but she'd also told him about her own budding feelings for him.
Did this make her a traitor to those words? Because if it did... perhaps now was the time to stop. Before she lost her ability to think again. Before she could hurt any of them.
