RANDOM EVENT
There is no calming a mind consumed by madness. The cannibal, for his part, is quite content and delighted with his world, frostbitten and nearly at its end though it may be.

Deimos is successful in grappling the cannibal (he is far superior in strength of course), but the man does spit a wad of half-chewed finger into Deimos ear, cackling madly as he is bound. Turning towards Peter, the cannibal snaps his teeth towards the spear, not at all phased by the threat of death.

Because no one has thought to stop anyone else*, Sunjata is easily about to lunge forward towards the cannibal who, of course, hardly is in a position to defend himself. His mad cackles turn to gurgles as blood pours from his torn throat. All the while his eyes are alight with a deep madness until all goes dark.

The cannibal is dead. Do you investigate the area or continue down the path?

* Remember, in turn-based combat situations, if you want to prevent someone from doing something, you have to announce this during your turn and hold your action for precisely this purpose. Unfortunately the only way anyone might have stopped Sunjata would have been to state during their turn "if anyone tries to harm the cannibal, my character will____".

Your random posting order is: Amalia, Adam, Deimos, Peter, Sunjata. Please try and reply within 48 hours. If you're using weapons/magic please list them in your summary.
