At Wessex's final jab, Loren halted in his tracks. For a moment, he just stood there. Then, expression darkening, he turned back to face the Wraith, murder in his eyes. Raising his free hand he pointed an accusatory finger at her. "Unlike you, I don't project my worst qualities onto other people." He practically spat the words out.
Lowering his arm, he took a swig from the bottle. "So let's make one thing very clear. Unlike you, I've never threatened children. And I didn't kill them, and you're a monster for even suggesting it." His voice was positively icy.
Narrowing his eyes, he tilted his head to the side. "But if you want to continue this conversation, let's do as Rexanna suggested and go hash this out elsewhere." His eyes glittered eagerly, almost as if he was hankering for a fight. Still, he turned to head off again.
