LILY
So birds (or rather, little birds) aren’t always a safe shift. Roger that, Remi.
Having decided it’s probably best to either be a cat or full-on human, Lily ultimately opts for the cat choice, deciding that there are things she can see and places she can go unnoticed as a cat that would be difficult for a woman of her coloring to do. Red hair just sticks out. Normally she loves it, relishes the attention, but today… today she simply wants to explore someplace new. So instead of a lovely woman, there’s a lovely striped cat on the beach, auburn fur ruffled faintly by the breeze and a floofy black-tipped tail sticking up like a banner in the wind, just padding along like it owns the place.
It sees the woman and changes course, coming to stop a little ways away. The cat sits, staring at the other with pale green eyes before opening its mouth for the faintest of chirps.
